COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CSBG)
The Community Services Block Grant Program helps low-income people gain the skills, knowledge, and motivation necessary to achieve self-sufficiency. The program also provides low-income people with immediate life necessities such as food, shelter and health care.
To qualify, you must first meet the CSBG Poverty Guidelines.
Find the CSBG Provider in Your Local Area: Services are provided at the local level by a number of Community Action Agencies and Additional Community Partners, such as Limited Purpose Agencies, Migrant and Seasonal Farm Work Programs and Native American Indian Programs.

ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
CSD helps low-income Californians manage and reduce energy costs. Part of the assistance offered by CSD is for emergencies—helping families who are in financial crisis pay a utility bill. Another part of the assistance helps reduce bills in the long term by installing weatherization measures to make low-income households more energy-efficient.
To qualify, you must first meet the Energy Program Income Guidelines.

LEAD-BASED PAINT HAZARD CONTROL PROGRAM
The Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Program delivers lead hazard control services to eligible low-income households occupied by young children to ensure lead-safe housing. Services include evaluation and remediation of lead-based paint and are available only in the counties of Humboldt, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Sacramento, Sutter and Yuba.
