|The Department of Community Services and Development will provide program design updates on the new Farmworker Housing Component of the LIWP Single-Family Energy Efficiency and Solar Photovoltaic Program, prior to the release of the draft Request for Proposal. The webinar will provide an overview of key program design elements and implementation considerations informed by the series of stakeholder engagement workshops and surveys.

The Farmworker Housing Component will be a new offering under LIWP focused on serving farmworker households. Under this LIWP component, CSD is scheduled to allocate a total of $10 million for energy efficiency and solar PV improvements to farmworker housing across 12 counties.
LIWP is part of California Climate Investments, a statewide program that puts billions of Cap-and-Trade dollars to work reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening the economy, and improving public health and the environment – particularly in disadvantaged communities.
