June 12, 2008:
The Department of Community Services and Development (CSD) is pleased to announce that Sacred Heart Community Service will be designated as the community action agency for Santa Clara County. Sacred Heart Community Service was founded in 1964 and has evolved into a leading provider of services to the low-income and homeless populations in Santa Clara County. CSD looks forward to partnering with Sacred Heart Community Services and welcomes its Board, staff, and volunteers to a statewide network of community action agencies, migrant seasonal farworker organizations, energy providers, and Indian tribes serving low-income individuals and families of California.
